A Place Where Shopping Builds Community

Last week I was invited into a Houston treasure, The Cottage Shop. A one-of-a-kind resale boutique which has been serving our community since 1971. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about their important mission supporting women and their families. Plus, the resource they have become for dressing many on a dime.

As listed on their website, https://www.thewomenshome.org/ “Our resale boutique is owned and operated by The Women’s Home, which means that 100% of sales contribute to the mission of building communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability. In addition to offering high-fashion clothing and home goods at incredible prices, the Cottage Shop serves as a vocational training site for our clients. Volunteers and residents who staff the store six days a week under the supervision of our professional staff.”

To highlight their offerings, I scoured their isles for "Impeccable Finds", putting together five ensembles that encompass Winter Trends. Proving that style can be accomplished at any price point. Mixing highs and lows is always a creative way to ensure you don’t look like your neighbor, while also infusing your own personality, with a budget in mind. Allowing you to walk away with pieces you love, plus the added bonus of helping our community.
